Carlos Taylhardat
Former Youth Worker for The Vancouver School Board, Group Home Manager with the Browndale Care Society and a Family Therapist graduate of PCFTTA. Carlos considers being a portrait photographer an extension of his work as a counsellor. His amazing and unique ability to connect with people, combined with his 18+ years experience in the photography field, always ensures stunning headshots with a vivid finish.
Carlos won photographer of the year 2005, other accolades include clients such as Microsoft, Lions Gate Studios, Phone Directories, BC Business Magazine to mention a few.
The Buzz
Carlos has outstanding skill: quiet, thoughtful, good listener, encyclopedic knowledge of photography . We retained him to do our tri-annual portraits and they are among the absolute best photographs we have in the over 125 years of history of the Regiment. Thanks Carlos, you are a pro!

"Carlos was amazing to work with. I was highly pleased with the success of the photoshoot and the headshots that were produced. The environment created during the shoot was a very fun and relaxed one. I believe this is something crucial that an actor requires during a shoot to produce natural photos that capture in essence who you are as a person. Carlos has a great energy and is so easy to relate to, it makes being in front of his camera so comfortable and so much fun. He has a great eye and is really insightful so he was able to capture the essence of who I truly am. I can't wait until we can shoot together again.

Thank you so much for the wonderful job you did on my Photos. As I told you when we first spoke on the phone, being photographed is a scary thing for me. I have a drawer full of photos of myself that have turned out badly. My experience with you was very different. You made me feel so relaxed and you created an environment for me to talk about some things that were important to me. I'm sure that was the key - I was so busy telling you about some of my feelings that I almost forgot I was being photographed. The result is a photograph that I am proud to use in my business communications and another that I am pleased to give to family members. Thank you again for your wonderful work! Blessings
